What is an Accessibility Plan?
- An accessibility plan outlines the actions an organization will take to remove and prevent accessibility barriers and is intended to help identify accessibility barriers for people who are in, or interact with, their organization.
- Barriers to accessibility can be physical, technological, systemic, attitudinal, or information and communications related.
- These barriers often exist in the built environment, information and communications, service delivery, transportation, employment, and procurement.
